Eurovillage, un complesso turistico nel cuore della foresta belga, nel 2011 è stato trasformato in un centro di accoglienza per richiedenti asilo. Isolati in questo luogo lontano per un periodo di tempo indeterminato, i residenti sono in attesa di una risposta logorante: saranno autorizzati a soggiornare in Belgio, o no? Come vivono questo lungo e strano “viaggio”, isolati dalla vita reale, sospesi tra ciò che erano e un futuro incerto?
Eurovillage, a former holiday resort, has been converted in 2011 in a reception centre for asylum seekers. Isolated in this remote place for an unspecified period of time, the residents are waiting for a stressful answer: will they be allowed to stay in Belgium or not? How do they live through this long and strange “journey”, disconnected from real life, suspended between what they were and an uncertain future?
